Rose

She’s the rose in my garden
In my garden of memories
But way down inside I’m afraid
She’s the rose in my garden
It’s a shame I’m not able
To save her, she’s bound to fade

Hard for me, to see how she
Casts herself away for a fee
And how she spoils her purity for me

How ever I try , I can’t bring about
To keep my hands off of her
Bu I don’t want, I don’t want to cover my eyes
It’s a comfort to me
To think that she, she needs me at all
I’ve got to remember, that everything has it’s price

She’s the rose ….

Deep in my heart it’s so clear to see
There’s no rose without a thorn
But still you’re an island of dreams in a way

But I can’t blind my eyes to the sewage
The garbage and desert of concrete at all
If I’m honest I know it – but it’s so hard to show it
That I’m guilty of your decay

You’re the rose in my garden
In my garden of memories
But way down inside I’m afraid
You’re the rose in my garden
And if nobody helps me to save you
You’re bound to fade

You’re the rose...
